Case: Medicalink’s original core business was to provide medical insurance options for the Centro Unido de Detallistas (CUD) members. The company broadened its product offerings and needed to establish itself as a brand.
Medicalink wanted to establish itself from only being a CUD service provider to providing all types of insurance for business owners. Being under the CUD umbrella, Medicalink had lacked having its own ID and awareness.
Challenge: Create a new positioning and communication to establish the Medicalink brand as the insurance business partner for small to mid size businesses.
Result: Created the strategy and brand experience communicating the risk of not being insured targeting business owners. The Medicalink re-launch included: Brand experience: Event branding, advertising, corporate brochure, event booth and website. The re-branding resulted in increased awareness and stable sales even though the economy has led to a decrease in the insurance industry.
